About Me

Hi, I’m Lara, a certified Reiki Master and Mindfulness Coach with a trauma-informed, neuroscience-grounded approach to emotional, mental and physical healing.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves—often after navigating years of high stress, caregiving, perfectionism, or trauma.

My role is to help you slow down, understand what your nervous system is telling you, and gently reconnect with your inner clarity and strength.

Blending mindfulness, nature-based practices, and evidence-backed tools from nervous system science, I create a calm, compassionate space where deep healing and personal restoration can unfold—at your pace, and in your way.

This work isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you feel safe, whole, and home in yourself again. The aim is is to bring back the sparkle and magic to life.

My Approach

A gentle blend of science, nature and embodied healing
This isn’t one-size-fits-all wellness. My approach brings together four key pillars that support deep, sustainable transformation — physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Neuroscience & Nervous System Support

Understanding how your brain and body respond to stress is key to real healing. I draw from nervous system science (like Polyvagal Theory) and trauma-informed coaching to help you recognize patterns — and shift into states of safety, regulation, and resilience.

When we work with your biology instead of against it, healing becomes much more compassionate and effective.

Mindfulness & Somatic Awareness

True healing happens when we come home to the body. Using mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle somatic practices, I guide you to notice what you're feeling, where you're holding tension, and how to release it. Over time, this builds a strong, compassionate relationship with your inner self.

When we tune into the body, we begin to access the clarity we’ve been missing.

Nature Based Connection

Nature is not just a backdrop — it’s an active partner in healing. Whether through outdoor mindfulness, grounding techniques, or seasonal rhythms, I help you reconnect with the natural world as a way to calm the mind and restore emotional and physical balance.

The earth has a quiet wisdom that gently reminds us who we are.

Reiki & Energy Support

For those who feel called, I offer Reiki as a gentle, non-invasive way to support your emotional and energetic well-being. Reiki can calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and create space for emotional release and inner peace.

Sometimes what we need isn’t to talk more — but to feel held, seen, and rebalanced.

Why Do I Do This Work

Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself - and what it takes to come back home

There was a time in my life when I looked outwardly composed but felt inwardly lost. Actually some of the time not even outwardly composed, I was a trainwreck.

I had got into dance school in London, the one dream I had had since the age of 3. Then due to a traumatic personal experience it all came crashing down. I was left with PTSD, anxiety, depression and just a shell that kind of looked like me.

I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and constantly running on empty. I was going to work having daily panic attacks on the side of the road. No matter how much I accomplished or how hard I tried to stay on top of things, I felt disconnected — from joy, from calm, and most of all, from myself.

It took meeting my future husband and hitting rock bottom— emotionally and physically — for me to finally pause and really look around. This isn't who I wanted to be and I damn sure wasn't going to inflict the trauma and behaviours from past relationships onto this beautiful man, the guy who I knew was sent to me for a reason.

That’s when my healing began. Slowly, I started learning how the nervous system works, how trauma can live in the body, and how nature, mindfulness, and intentional rest can restore what stress and survival had taken away. It was messy, raw and uncomfortable at times. Luckily, I had a fierce tribe around me who held me whilst I fixed myself.

Mindfulness and reiki became a deeply nourishing part of my own healing, not as a cure-all, but as a quiet space where I could finally exhale. A space where I could see what was out of balance and find ways to alleviate the pain. Then I started studying Neuroscience at uni and it all clicked into place. The brain body connection. How fantastic are our bodies?! These meat suits that are so much more than just mechanics.

It took me a decade but I finally feel at home in my mind and body again. I'm happily married, with two beautiful dogs. I enjoy morning kitchen raves with the husband andpooches, being out in nature, appreciating the small beautiful things in life - like how delicious coffee smells, or the way the trees in my garden sparkle when they flutter in the wind. This to me is magick and magick is all around us and within us. I believe this more than anything. Reiki opened up a whole world for me. The ability to see and feel others and then to be able to help them. It doesn't get better than that.

Now, I offer this work because I’ve lived the difference it makes and I want to share it with others. If I can do it then anyone else can.

I believe healing doesn’t have to be harsh. It can be spacious, supported, and deeply human. My role is to walk beside you — with practical tools, calming presence, and gentle guidance — as you rediscover your own resilience and truth.

This work is not just my profession. It’s my purpose.

Training & Credentials

Blending evidence based knowledge with heart led practice

Everything I offer is grounded in both personal experience and professional training. I am committed to ongoing learning, trauma-informed care, and working in a way that honors the complexity of healing.

Lara is a fully qualified and accredited Reiki Master, with a diploma in Meditation Teaching and a certificate in Transformational Coaching. She is also currently studying for a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Bristol. Upon graduation, Lara aims to combine the two, to blend science and holistic therapies with a Somatic approach.

Lara has led teams in the NHS, Education and Food industry over the last 15 years. Working in the NHS in senior management during and post pandemic was eye opening and the reason Lara left her corporate job to pursue a career in helping others. The first hand experience of seeing the trauma from lockdowns and loss was the catalyst she needed to do what she was meant to do.

Since leaving the NHS Lara has built her own business, worked in a Wellbeing Centre as a Support Worker, run meditation classes, supported women through coaching sessions, held webinars, interviewed and surveyed 100 women to see what is going on in their lives and how she can actually help, facilitated women's retreats and circles, ran workshops and collabs with yoga instructors, guest spoken at several events and helped hundreds of women, who like herself, just needed space and for someone to see them.
